Peaceful Warrior

A peaceful warrior is not something you become. 
It is something you are in this moment, or, something you are not.
The way it self creates the warrior.

Feelings change moment to moment, sometimes sorrow, sometimes joy.
Beneath it all remember the simple perfection of your life unfolding.
This is the secret of unreasonable happiness.

You don't have to surrender your dreams.
Just surrender the one thing you will never have, control.
Accept that you can't control what will happen to you.
That you may or may not reach your goals, 
and that you are something exceptionell either way.

The mind is a phantom that lives only in the past or future.
Its only power over you is to draw your attention out of the present.

Adversity is a part of your training, and life is choice.
You can choose to be a victim or you can choose anything else you'd like to be.

How do you know you havn't been asleep your whole life?
How do you know you're not asleep right now?

You don't have more than a few years left, no one does.
So be happy now, without reason, or you never will be at all.

When you become fully responsible for your life, you can become fully human.
Ones you become human, you may then discover what it means to be a warrior.

You just need to relax into life, let yourself breath naturally.
The breath is a bridge between mind and body, feeling and doing.
Balanced natural breathing brings you back to the moment.

Change. Know that nothing stays the same.

You don't need to control emotion.
Emotions are natural like passing weather.
The keys is constuctive action, let them flow and then let them go.

Nearly all humanity shares your predicament.
If you don't get what you want you suffer.
And even when you get exactly what you want, you still suffer,
because you can't hold on to it forever.

Life is not a private affair.
A story and it's lessons are only useful if shared.
